Kollengode Palakkad is a small town in of Kerala state, India. Kollengode is 19 km from Palakkad town, with endless green paddy fields, an ancient Vishnu temple and the Kollengode Palace, built in the traditional architectural style.

Kollengode enshrines the pristine beauty of rural Palakkad. The village gets its name from the blacksmith (Kollen in the Malayalam language) community who live here. Presently, Sri. A Surendran is the President of Kollengode Gram Panchayat. He is the District Secretary of Indian National Congress (I). Formerly, he was the President of Kollengode Block Panchayat.
